an exclusive space for 10 women
You are not short of ideas.
You are short of space.
Space to think clearly.
Space to build properly.
Space to move something forward without being interrupted every eleven minutes.
Right now, you are living in a constant contradiction.
You are overstimulated by life and understimulated by the work that is meant to fulfil you.
You used to feel brilliant.
You used to feel exceptional.
People used to comment on your spark, your thinking, your potential.
That part of you has not disappeared.
It has simply been buried under the emotional load, the logistics, the meetings, the school events, the invisible labour, and the hundreds of small decisions you make for everyone else every day.
Your own work keeps slipping to the bottom of the list.
Not because you lack discipline or clarity, but because you are carrying too much to hold yourself at the same time.
And still, the fire remains.
The part of you that knows you could build something meaningful if you had even two uninterrupted weeks. But life does not give you two weeks. It gives you twenty stolen minutes between dinner and someone calling your name.
The online coaching world does not help. It is too loud, too fast, too shallow. You are not looking for hype. You are looking for clarity, structure, and a way to get real work done that honours your actual life.
You do not need a sprint. You need a return. A return to your ambition. A return to your creativity. A return to building work that feels like you and earns accordingly.
This is where The Kindling Academy begins.
What this is
The Kindling Academy is a ten-week, term-time programme for women who want to turn their thinking into a real, sellable business offer.
It is designed for women who are capable, thoughtful and under-stimulated by work that no longer reflects their ability, and who want to earn from their talents and experience without burning out.
This is not a mindset programme.
This is not a branding exercise.
This is not vague exploration.
This is a structured, teacher-designed process that helps you decide what your business is really about, shape a paid offer you can stand behind, and start building momentum in a way that is sustainable.
You do not just reflect here.
You build.
let me paint you a picture…
By Easter, you will have…
a crafted, unmistakable business offer that feels like you and that you can confidently sell
a clear way of earning money from your talents, passions and experience
a settled sense of direction so you know exactly what you are building next
language you can use to talk about your business without overthinking or second-guessing
a calm, capable community of women building real businesses alongside you
a realistic plan for sharing and selling your work that fits your life and capacity
early momentum in your business, whether that shows up as interest, enquiries or first sales
The Arc (the phases of learning)
Phase One: Origin
You clarify what your work really is, who it is for, and why it matters now. This is where the circling stops and your business gains a clear centre.
Phase Two: Structure
You shape your first core business offer. You decide what you are delivering, how it works, how it fits your life, and how it earns money. This is where your business starts to feel intentional rather than accidental.
Phase Three: Practice
You develop the language to talk about your work clearly and confidently. You begin sharing your ideas in small, low-pressure ways and notice what resonates. Many women naturally feel ready to begin gentle testing or soft launching sometime after February half term. There is no deadline and no pressure. You move at your own pace.
Phase Four: Expression
You refine your offer with structured feedback and create a simple plan for sharing and selling your work through the spring. Some women already have interest forming by this point. Others are preparing for their first confident step outward. Others are earning good money.
how we work together
The Kindling Academy runs on a steady, adult-learning rhythm that supports deep thinking and real progress.
We alternate between two types of weeks.
Teaching Weeks
Focused, structured sessions where I teach the core ideas, frameworks and decisions you need to move your business forward. You leave knowing exactly what to work on next.
Q&A and Clinic Weeks
You submit your questions in advance about your offer, pricing, confidence, priorities, or earning from your experience. I record detailed responses in a private video podcast format, with a full transcription, so you can listen, watch and revisit whenever you need.
These clinic weeks are practical and applied. We focus on turning your talents and experience into a clear offer, an income-focused plan, and a realistic three-month direction for your business.
This rhythm gives you clarity without overload, momentum without pressure, and support without dependency. It respects busy lives, fluctuating energy, and limited uninterrupted time.

Hi, I'm Laura
I’m a teacher, coach and creative, and I spend my working life helping capable women turn their ideas, experience and talents into work that actually earns.
I’ve spent years in classrooms, rehearsal rooms and coaching spaces, designing learning that helps people think clearly, build confidence and make real progress. Alongside that, I’m also a mum of three, juggling a full life and multiple creative roles, so I understand first-hand what it means to want meaningful work without sacrificing everything else.
The Kindling Academy is built from that combination: the rigour of a teacher, the insight of a coach, and the realism of someone who knows that time, energy and focus are precious. I don’t rush women, and I don’t overwhelm them. I design clear learning arcs, ask good questions, and help you build something solid, sustainable and worth your effort.
This programme exists because I know how many brilliant women are under-used, over-responsible, and ready to build work that reflects who they are now. My role is to help you do that with clarity, structure and momentum.
FAQ
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need to have a business already?
No. Some women arrive with an early-stage business, others with a long career and a sense that they want to earn differently from their skills and experience. What matters is that you are ready to build a clear, paid offer and take your work seriously.
Is this about launching straight away?
No. We work at a realistic, humane pace. Many women naturally begin gentle testing or soft launching after February half term, once their offer feels clear and grounded. There is no pressure to launch before you are ready. The focus is on building something solid that lasts.
How much time will this take each week (between Jan 12th and March 27th?)
Expect one main session most weeks, alternating between teaching and clinic weeks, plus optional co-working. The programme is designed for busy women with full lives. You do not need long uninterrupted days. Consistent, focused time is enough.
What if I cannot attend live?
All teaching sessions and clinic responses are recorded.
Clinic weeks are delivered as video podcast-style recordings with full transcripts, so you can listen, watch or read in your own time. You will not fall behind if you miss a live session.
How personal is the support?
You will be working within a small, thoughtful group and learning circles, with regular opportunities to submit questions and receive direct guidance. This is not one-to-one coaching, but it is attentive, responsive and well held. (there is the option to add in one-to-one calls and all early-birds will get a 60 minute 121 with me, my gift to you!)
Is this suitable if I am juggling work, family and other commitments?
Yes. The programme is designed around real life, not an idealised version of it. The term-time rhythm, half-term pause, recorded clinics and steady pacing all exist because most capable women are carrying a lot already.
Will this help me earn money?
The aim of The Kindling Academy is to help you build a clear, viable business offer and a realistic plan for earning from your skills and experience. Many women see early momentum during the programme. What you leave with is something you can continue to refine, offer and earn from beyond Easter.
What makes this different from other coaching programmes?
This programme is curriculum-led and teacher-designed. It combines structured learning, thoughtful support and practical application. You are not rushed, hyped or left to figure things out alone. You are guided through a clear arc that leads to real business outcomes.
Is this right for me if I am not “confident” yet?
Yes. Confidence grows through clarity and action, not before them. You do not need to arrive certain or polished. You need to be willing to think honestly and build steadily.
How many places are available?
Places are limited so the group remains focused and supportive. Once the cohort is full, enrolment will close.
What is the investment?
Early Bird: £1100
Full Price: £1500
Payment plans are of course available without interest
This is for women ready to build a real business from their experience, with clarity, structure and momentum.
